Hasina Gori is head of content at The Debrief Network. She is an award-winning journalist and content strategist with over 15 years of experience in broadcast and digital media. She’s reported from courtrooms, protests, and disaster zones; and played a key role in reimagining how legacy media meets a digital-first audience. At the SABC, she led national coverage, launched and scaled its TikTok platform, and mentored the next generation of newsroom talent.

Anathi Ndevu is a news creator at The Debrief Network. She is producer and communications specialist with experience spanning digital media, television, and radio production. With a strong background in strategic communications and multimedia storytelling, Anathi is passionate about turning complex social issues into compelling content that educates, engages, and inspires change. Skilled in campaign support, media coordination, and video editing, Anathi creates content that resonates with real people and drives impact.

Jomo Dlame is a news creator at The Debrief Network, passionate about telling people’s stories with clarity and purpose. With a focus on human-centered storytelling, Jomo works to cut through the noise and bring audiences closer to the issues that truly matter. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to impactful journalism, Jomo creates content that resonates, informs, and inspires.

Ayesha Vahed is a senior news creator for The Debrief Network, focusing on human rights issues such as the genocide in Palestine and South African news including individuals driving social development and change in the region. She is a Senior Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, an EU Legal Consultant, and has worked as a Legal Reporter at the International Court of Justice. She also founded a non-profit that focuses on desalination plants in Gaza.

Zakiyya Hatia is a specialised news creator at The Debrief Network. She is an Africa specialist covering everything from human security to regional stability. She is passionate about making complex stories clear and accessible for a global audience.
